exclusive swimming pool, La Canonica enjoys an enviable hilltop location above the town of Castelfiorentino, the location is very pretty and there are panoramic views across the valley to the surrounding Tuscan hills. Castelfiorentino is your nearest town. This is an ideal base for those who wish to tour and visit all the main sights of Tuscany. Florence is easy to reach by either car or train as is Siena, whilst closer to hand you have San Gimignano and Volterra.

La Canonica, formerly a monastery, has been carefully restored and has
many personal touches throughout. Outside steps lead up to the front
entrance and entrance hall then into a picturesque rustic room with beamed
ceiling - this is divided from the dining/kitchen by a central fireplace
which is open on two sides. Well equipped kitchen area has fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, five ring hob, electric oven, microwave and TV. The upper floor
is reached by a stone staircase which leads to a sitting room (TV) and to
the bedrooms. There is one good double bedroom en-suite off the sitting room (shower, basin and wc). The other bedrooms are a further double, a twin and a smaller children's room. Family bathroom has two basins, bath, bidet and wc. There are good views to the hills from many of the windows. All the upstairs rooms have wooden ceilings and there are terracotta floors throughout.
The owners live on site in a small semi-detached building.
Outside there is a front patio with garden table and chairs for eating out
of doors.
The swimming pool is in the olive grove just across the track from the property. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m. Parking . TV, Heating, barbeque, refrigerator, cooking range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, pets allowed.
